o Collaborate with the project lead to understand requirements and provide accurate effort estimations.
o Contribute to the architecture and design of the framework from scratch.
o Develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Ruby on Rails.
o Conduct thorough testing of features and bug fixes to ensure high code quality.
o Review code written by other developers and provide constructive feedback
o Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations
oAt least 5 years of experience working as a Ruby on Rails Developer.
o Basic understanding of HTML, ReactJS, and Tailwind CSS
o Experience in
object-oriented design, common design patterns, and modern development principles like SOLID and DRY
o Experience in designing and building scalable, maintainable backend systems and RESTful APIs
o Knowledge of change control systems, specifically Git.
o Proficient in containerizing applications with Docker and deploying to cloud environments (familiarity with GCP and Kubernetes is a plus)
o Good communication in English.
