    OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION

    The Project Coordinator position aims to set up planning and preparation of all projects, including reporting and coordinating projects, to deliver the joinery defect-free and on time to the highest standard.

    The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the project team in establishing and maintaining a safe, effective, and productive site-based process. The Project Coordinator also has the responsibility to work with our clients to deliver the best outcome the first time.

    The Project Coordinator has the following key responsibilities:

    • Program
      • Setting up the final draft program
      • Set up the program/production and site
      • Working with clients & staff to determine the best scheduling solution for them as well as the business, while maintaining realistic expectations
    • Project Management
      • Set up job matrix & BOQ
      • Select apartment and colour scheme
      • Set up Project Management software (schedule / Tasks)
      • Set up site assessment, location,…
      • Preparing Safety Documents
      • Local production & material ordering
      • Send all warranty information for the Project
      • Submit user guides and cleaning
      • Maintenance tracking
      • Maintenance booking
    • Coordinating
      • Organizing project samples (finishes, hardware)
      • Shipping coordinating & factory loading dates
        • Container book in
        • Weekly container report
        • Site delivery booking
        • Book the container site delivery
        • Book the floor loading
        • Book Unwrap the joinery
      • Site safety book in
      • Site stock ordering
    • Monitor and update the job schedule using the job schedule each week for the weekly meeting
      • Notify the General Manager/ Site Manager of any issues identified with the job schedule or potential delays to production.
      • Project reporting
      • Client weekly update reports
    • Reporting
      • Attend weekly meetings
      • Provide a weekly update to the General Manager showing
        • Job-status of work in progress
        • Issues with the job schedule
        • Potential production issues
