Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not limited to, the following areas and activities. At management’s discretion may be given for tasks outside the scope of work described.
• Be responsible for overseeing all visual issues of all painting.
• Reviews the performance of painting staff in accordance with Resort guidelines Monitor and oversee the cleaning, preparation and painting of surfaces as required.
• Oversee the finishing and repair of drywall, granite floor.
• Assists with and oversee the cleaning, preparation and painting of surfaces as required
• Responds to maintenance requests from HODs, as requested by the GM.
• Follow up on water infiltration treatment in new villas, handed-over villas and outlet areas of PMU and report to CE
• Research and find out the reason of water infiltration defects in villas and outlet areas
• Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture
• Supervised painting staff to ensure deadlines and standards of high quality were met.
• Coordinated work schedule of job duties, responsibilities and location of painters.
• Maintains an inventory and par stock of paints and materials used regularly.
• Ensures all paint and other materials are labeled and stored accurately and in accordance with fire and safety regulations.
• Provide information to managers, peers, subordinates and other departments. Function as a technical department resource and provides training to incumbents and new hires.
• Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities, including test results, instrument readings, and details of equipment malfunctions and maintenance work.
• Maintain the maintenance cost and departmental budget with focus on parts, supplies and labor management
• Assist with and carry out Health and Safety risk assessments for designated facilities as required.
• Ensure compliance with legislated workplace heath and safety requirements
• Comply with all Resort specific Standards and Procedures.
• Assist all engineering associates with maintenance and repairs when required.
• Implements other duties as required and directed by Chief Engineer
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with other; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
• Good communication and writing skills
• Literate in the use of Microsoft Office
• Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities
Qualifications –
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
Experience –
• 3 years of engineering experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
