Position Overview

The LIMS Lead is in charge of the quality data information management system of Vestergaard public health products and reports to the Vector Control Laboratory Manager.

Primary responsibilities are building, launching and maintaining the LIMS system to monitor and improve the management of quality database, quality reviews, reporting. The position works with LIMS software service company to develop expertise knowledge.

The position is based in Hanoi and occasionally requires travelling to factories in Vietnam.

Key Accountabilities

1. Work with LIMs service provider to set-up the system in our laboratory.

2. Set-up and maintain the database system in connection with factories and laboratories.

3. Acquire and improve knowledge through trainings provided by, and communication with the LIMS supplier.

4. Up-grade the LIMs system with the support of LIMs supplier whenever necessary.

5. Provide training to the required team

6. Responsible for smooth and effective run of LIMS and report the output/results/performance of LIMS.

7. Responsible for lab data analysis and quality review for lab risk management, suppliers feedback and quality objective set up.

8. Responsible for preciseness and professional of lab documentation database

9. Develop knowledge on specific processes, requirements and operations in public health space; specialize through career progression.
