Responsibilities
Merchandiser is responsible for following up customer orders, closely coordinating with related parties (sales, vendors, factories, QAQC, SCM, pricing, logistics....) to ensure everything goes according to plan and order requirements from quality, quantity, shipping time. Work directly with customers and manage the whole cycle from sampling development to shipment & after sales.
• Work with sales, clients & design team to develop samples according to clients’ demand.
• Follow up & overview sample production, ensure sample quality before sending to customers.
• Receive orders, assist customers in the ordering process.
• Follow up customer feedback, support negotiating contracts if necessary.
• Work closely with Design, Supply chain, Logistics and Sales to ensure raw materials for production.
• Work closely with manufacturing vendors, QA-QC, Supply Chain, Logistics and Sales... to ensure orders are produced and delivered on schedule with good quality & quantity.
• Be the primary point of communication between product team and manufacturers on all development details.
• Oversee all qualities aspect during pilot/ mass production.
• Collaborate with SCM, Production, and QA-QC teams to keep clients informed of any unforeseen delays or issues impacting order progress.
• Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested in close collaboration with our R&D and SCM.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry in the system following established processes.
• Prepare regular reports as required.
• Report to Merchandise supervisor.
• Other tasks requested by Line manager or BOD.
Requirements
• FLUENT ENGLISH is the MUST
• 4+ years of experience in merchandise, including 2+ years in furniture field
• Having good orientation as of taking care client’s request in daily basis in full details and with dedication, carefulness and accuracy.
• Good skills of time & work management
• Good skills of communication & negotiation, logical thinking and flexible problem-solving ability.
• Good skills in collecting and analyzing information, data, and making reports to identify trends and detect potential problems.
• Accuracy, careful, result-oriented, multi-tasking ability.
• Good skill of training / coaching
• Adaptability & good pressure resistance
• Proactive, initiative, willing to learn
• Can work independently or teamwork and able to travel frequently
• Good at Microsoft especially excel
• Comfortable in working in an international matrix environment.
• University graduation in relating fields
