Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced, and thorough chief accountant to join our rapidly growing company. In this role, you will demonstrate your management skills and accounting expertise in a corporate accounting practice, including overseeing taxes. You must be highly accurate and efficient, utilizing your vast knowledge ensuring that consistent, accurate accounting services are being performed to present the correct financials to the management.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Manage and supervise all accounting and financial activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.

· Make ensuring that financial statements and reports are created accurately, promptly, and in accordance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

· Create and put into place financial rules, procedures, and controls to guarantee the accuracy of the accounting process.

· Analyze financial data and provide senior management insights and suggestions to assist company choices.

· Prepare and submit monthly MIS report with senior management along with detail analysis

· Manage the yearly audit process, communicate with outside auditors, and guarantee that audit standards are being followed.

· Make sure the company’s finances are stable by manage cash flow and managing ties with banks.

· Preparation of budget for following financial year and analyzing the same with actual, highlighting the areas of improvement to achieve the target

· Give advice and help to the accounting staff and other areas when it comes to money.

Requirements and Qualifications

· Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance or related majors

· At least 5 years of experience in accounting and finance

· Proven experience in a managerial role.

· Experience in the agro-commodity industry is a plus

· Strong understanding of accounting concepts, how to report financial information, and how to follow rules.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.

· Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
