1. Lead Time Optimization:
- Manage and optimize lead times to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Implement strategies to take full advantage of lead times, reducing delays and improving efficiency.
2. Supplier Negotiation:
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
3. Problem Solving:
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during the procurement process, from sampling to mass production.
- Implement solutions to mitigate risks and prevent future occurrences.
4. Communication:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with suppliers, sales teams, and other internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure alignment on order requirements and delivery timelines.
5. Order Management:
- Oversee the procurement process from the initial lab dip and strike-off stages to mass production.
- Ensure all orders meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
6. Quality Assurance:
- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure materials meet required standards.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits of supplier performance.
7. Market Analysis:
- Stay informed about market trends, new materials, and advancements in the textile industry.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
