JOB OVERVIEW:

As a Rooftop Solar Engineer, you are responsible for designing, supervising, and managing electrical systems related to rooftop and supervising construction contractors to ensure project quality, timelines, and compliance with safety and technical standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Rooftop Electrical System Design:

• Develop technical drawings, calculate power requirements.
  
• Optimize design to align with roof structures and client requirements.
  
• Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, NEC) and Vietnamese regulations (TCVN, QCVN).
  

2. Construction Contractor Supervision:

• Monitor construction progress and quality: from framework installation, equipment setup, electrical connection to final handover.
  
• Supervise compliance with safety protocols (working in heights, PPE usage, fire and explosion prevention).
  
• Collaborate with contractors to resolve on-site issue ( design flaws, substandard materials, client requirement changes).
  
• Organize progress review meetings and report updates to management.
  

3. Quality & Safety Management:

• Conduct regular inspection: grounding resistance, insulation tests and solar system efficiency checks.
  
• Assess risks and propose corrective actions.
  
• Ensure contractors adhere to occupational safety and environmental regulations.
  

4. Cross- Department Coordination:

• Collaborate with architectural and construction teams to integrate electrical systems into overall designs
  
• Coordinate with national power utilities (EVN) to finalize grid connection procedures (if required).
  

5. Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare as- build drawings, handover documents, and operation/maintenance guidelines.
  
• Submit detailed reports on budgets, progress, and technical issue to management.
