The Deck Saigon is seeking a committed Guest Experience Agent to play a vital role in creating memorable experiences. This position goes beyond merely taking orders; it's about crafting lasting memories. As our Guest Service Agent, your responsibilities will include:
- Owning the Guest Journey: You will be the main point of contact from arrival to departure, ensuring smooth and enjoyable service.
- Empowering Guests with Wine Knowledge: Serve as our in-house wine connoisseur, expertly guiding guests through our offerings and suggesting ideal pairings. Collaborating for Excellence: Partner with the Restaurant Manager to uphold service standards, train team members (especially regarding wine), and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
- Driving Guest Loyalty: Foster relationships with guests, anticipate their needs, and cultivate a welcoming atmosphere that promotes repeat visits. We are looking for a candidate who has: Proactive Guest Service Mentality: You stay one step ahead, foreseeing guest needs and addressing issues before they arise.
- In-Depth Wine & F&B Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in wine regions, varietals, and food pairings. Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Capable of effectively interacting with guests and colleagues at all levels.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Confident and resourceful in managing guest requests and concerns. Understanding of Restaurant Operations: Knowledge of restaurant dynamics and the significance of teamwork in a fast-paced setting. - Proactive Guest Service Mentality: A genuine passion for providing exceptional guest service and a proactive approach to anticipating guest needs.
- In-Depth Wine & F&B Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in wine regions, varietals, food pairings, and beverage service. Formal wine certifications (e.g., WSET) are a plus.
- Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues at all levels.1 A positive and outgoing personality is essential.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle guest requests and concerns with professionalism and resourcefulness, finding effective solutions to any issues that arise.
- Understanding of Restaurant Operations: Knowledge of restaurant dynamics, service flow, and the importance of teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a fine dining setting is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, lift, and carry objects as needed.
